The long awaited second edition of Joy’s book The Dying Patient in Psychotherapy is to be published in April 2020 now published by Routledge.

 

The full title is The Dying Patient in Psychotherapy: Erotic Transference and Boarding School Syndrome.  
As the sub-title indicates, as well as the story of psychotherapy with a dying patient, this is an in-depth study of the meaning and purpose of an erotic transference in psychotherapy.  It is also the first full-length case study of the life long impact of Boarding School Syndrome.
So it is anticipated it will interest a wide range of readers: this will include professionals interested in all three fields as well as the general reader who likes a good story.
